Nelumbo nucifera ‘Xinghua Fen’ — medium lotus, shipped as a dormant lotus tuber.

Apricot Pink has beautiful pink petals dramatically edged in darker pink. The petals drape nicely on older flowers. Apricot Pink has perfect form and dramatic color which always make it one of our best sellers. The pot size can dramatically effect the size of the mature plant because Apricot Pink will grow in almost any size pot form 10" wide like a bowl lotus all the way up to the very big pots used for large lotus varieties. The smaller the pot, the smaller the mature plant.

As a medium lotus, this one settles at 6 to 18 inches of water over the crown once established — start a new tuber under 2 to 4 inches and raise the level as it pushes aerial leaves, with the growing tip left uncovered.
