Crispy Lotus - Fresh and Beautiful Lotus (Bare Root)

Nelumbo nucifera — large pond lotus, shipped as a dormant lotus tuber.

Think fresh! Think crispy -- Crispy Lotus, that is! Like a breath of fresh, cool air on a hot summer day, the sweet color of Crispy Lotus will calm your spirit and soothe your soul. The wide petals are a lively shade of pink and feature white stripes along the length of the petals with a darker pink picotee at the edges. The color mellows uniformly with age but the kiss of pink is always there.

As a large pond lotus, this one settles at 12 to 24 inches of water over the crown once established — start a new tuber under 2 to 4 inches and raise the level as it pushes aerial leaves, with the growing tip left uncovered.
