First Kiss - Very Small Lotus (Bare Root)

Nelumbo nucifera — bowl lotus, shipped as a dormant lotus tuber.

This lotus is definitely a heavy blooming variety at our nursery when planted in a 12" diameter pot in full sun. Enjoy First Kiss on your balcony or as a tabletop on your patio.

As a bowl lotus, this one settles at 2 to 12 inches of water over the crown once established — start a new tuber under 2 to 4 inches and raise the level as it pushes aerial leaves, with the growing tip left uncovered.
