Fowler Scottish Roots Accent Mug – Family Shield

Some names tell you exactly what an ancestor did for a living. Fowler is one — a bird-catcher, a trade that fed households long before it disappeared from the job listings.

Occupational names like this were among the earliest to settle in Scotland, passed from father to son until the work was gone and only the name remained. There is something quietly moving in that: the job ended, the family kept going.

The Fowler family shield is printed with clear Scotland lettering on both sides of the 11-ounce mug, so the design never sits facing away. Choose a black, navy or red handle and interior. A solid, everyday gift for a Fowler parent, grandparent or cousin.
