Gorgeous Lotus (Bare Root)

Nelumbo nucifera ‘Mei Yan’ — medium lotus, shipped as a dormant lotus tuber.

Isn't the name perfect? 'Gorgeous' lives up to its name in every way, too. It is easy to grow, produces a full healthy set of leaves and flowers quite often. The first day flower is very red and softens very slightly as the flower ages. The receptacle is golden yellow and this lotus produces really nice seed pods.
