Peach with Raindrops Lotus (Bare Root)

Nelumbo nucifera — bowl lotus, shipped as a dormant lotus tuber.

Tao Hong Su Yu. 'Peach With Raindrops' is the one of the first varieties of lotus that we grew at the nursery. Flowers have deep, vibrant color that softens beautifully as the flower ages. This variety also sets seed so pods are attractive, too. 'Peach with Raindrops' will grow in a miniature pot.

As a bowl lotus, this one settles at 2 to 12 inches of water over the crown once established — start a new tuber under 2 to 4 inches and raise the level as it pushes aerial leaves, with the growing tip left uncovered. Growing it as a micro lotus
