Big, wide, pure white petals allow the golden ring of stamen of Princess Kennedy to glow and make this lotus a spectacular addition to our Little Princess Series! It has tremendous visual presence when the large flower is open! Named after a saucy little Miss, this lotus is breathtaking in its simplicity. Thank you to Dr. Daike Tian for this random seedling! For those of you who mostly view your lotus early in the morning or late in the evening, white is a great color for you because it is more visible in partial darkness.

As a large pond lotus, this one settles at 12 to 24 inches of water over the crown once established — start a new tuber under 2 to 4 inches and raise the level as it pushes aerial leaves, with the growing tip left uncovered.
