Shy Face of Child Lotus (Bare Root)

Nelumbo nucifera ‘Tong Xiu Lian’ — medium lotus, shipped as a dormant lotus tuber.

'Shy Face of Child' is an unusual lotus that bounces back and forth between single petal and semi-double flowers. The flowers are a very distinctive shade of pink while the the lime green receptacle and bright gold stamen are a sight to behold! The plant is medium height but produces large flowers and good seed pods.
