Star of Green - Perfection Every Time Lotus (Bare Root)

Nelumbo nucifera — bowl lotus, shipped as a dormant lotus tuber.

Outstanding Pure White Color. Unique Shape. One of the most elegant white lotus in our collection. Petals have a very light blush of green on the outer edges. The classic single petal form is crisp and clean in style. 'Star of Green' is an exquisite of bowl lotus and is well-suited for a smaller pot. It will grow about 20" tall in a larger pot.

As a bowl lotus, this one settles at 2 to 12 inches of water over the crown once established — start a new tuber under 2 to 4 inches and raise the level as it pushes aerial leaves, with the growing tip left uncovered.
