Nelumbo nucifera ‘Lian Ai’ — medium lotus, shipped as a dormant lotus tuber.

Tender Love! The small/medium plant produces flowers continuously throughout the summer. The single-petal flowers are a deep red and are very large for a small lotus. We highly recommend this one for a novice grower!

As a medium lotus, this one settles at 6 to 18 inches of water over the crown once established — start a new tuber under 2 to 4 inches and raise the level as it pushes aerial leaves, with the growing tip left uncovered.
