The President Lotus (Bare Root)

Nelumbo nucifera — large pond lotus, shipped as a dormant lotus tuber.

A Perry D. Slocum Lotus. Starts Red, Stays Red. Very large red single blooms are characteristic of this lotus. The bright yellow receptacle will give way to seed pods which can be used in dried flower arrangements. This lotus needs a large pot or medium-large pond.
