Autumn in Moling is probably the most photographed lotus around the world today. One of the hottest lotus on the international scene, 'Autumn in Moling' has a very bright, true yellow flower that drapes dramatically. It is beautiful when viewed from the side, an extremely heavy bloomer and puts on a show all summer long. We highly recommend this one! Autumn in Moling is listed by the hybridizer, Master Ding Yuesheng, as a large lotus (see the picture below of Ganesh Anandhakrishnan admiring the earth-bottom pond full of Autumn in Moling ); however, in our pots it usually stays closer to medium in height. Let the night-time temperatures average 50*F or higher before planting!

As a medium lotus, this one settles at 6 to 18 inches of water over the crown once established — start a new tuber under 2 to 4 inches and raise the level as it pushes aerial leaves, with the growing tip left uncovered.
