Fernie Scottish Family Emblem Accent Mug – 11 oz

The Fernie name runs along a banner beneath the family shield on this mug, with Scotland lettering above — a tidy arrangement that suits a name of its length.

Fernie is a place in Fife, and the surname is territorial, taken by families from the ground they held or worked. That gives anyone researching the name a firm point on the map to start from, which is more than many Scottish surnames offer.

The artwork is printed on both sides of the 11-ounce ceramic mug, so it shows whichever way round it is. Choose a black, navy or red handle and interior. A warm gift for a Fernie relative, or for someone with Fife ancestry they are only beginning to explore.
