Fin Scottish Surname Mug – Family Shield

Three letters and a family shield. Fin is about as short as a surname gets, and on a plain white mug that brevity works entirely in its favour.

Short names like this one are often the surviving core of something longer, worn down over centuries of speech and spelling. Anyone researching a Fin line quickly learns to keep an open mind about how it might appear in older documents.

The shield sits above the name on a banner, with Scotland lettering, printed on both sides of the 11-ounce mug so the design shows either way round. Choose a black, navy or red handle and interior. A neat, personal gift for a Fin relative or a curious cousin.
