Fire Crane - Red Lotus (Bare Root)

Nelumbo nucifera ‘Huo He’ — dwarf lotus, shipped as a dormant lotus tuber.

A cheerful bright red double lotus will brighten up your water garden or patio. 'Fire Crane' is a perfect substitute for Momo botan - the same size and color.

As a dwarf lotus, this one settles at 2 to 12 inches of water over the crown once established — start a new tuber under 2 to 4 inches and raise the level as it pushes aerial leaves, with the growing tip left uncovered.
