Jeannie's Smile - Our Happy Flower Lotus (Bare Root)

Nelumbo nucifera — large pond lotus, shipped as a dormant lotus tuber.

Huge flowers. Jeannie's Smile, a large single-petal pink with Huge flowers is named after the matriarch of the Kennedy family. She was an avid gardener who was happiest outside working with her day lilies. She was also right at home hosting big family gatherings because her family was so important to her. She would write "Jeannie-grams" to every family member that might be a poem or a story about growing up in the Deep South back when times were hard. She always ended with "Live, Laugh, Love".
