Little Pink Beauty Lotus (Bare Root)

Nelumbo nucifera ‘Fen Dai’ — bowl lotus, shipped as a dormant lotus tuber.

Glowing colors as beautiful as the sunrise with yellow-orange petal bases and pink petal tips make 'Little Pink Beauty' one of the most unusual lotus we grow. The flower has a perfect cup shape. 'Little Pink Beauty' is well-suited for smaller pots. Shallow water is a must!

A little slow to start in the spring but once the weather heats up it will produce lots of flowers. The picture with multiple flowers had two tubers placed in a 12" pot.

The proper name for this lotus is actually 'Pink Beauty' but since there is also a large cultivar with the same name we added the descriptive word 'Little' to help avoid confusion.

As a bowl lotus, this one settles at 2 to 12 inches of water over the crown once established — start a new tuber under 2 to 4 inches and raise the level as it pushes aerial leaves, with the growing tip left uncovered.
