Pink-A-Licious - Sizzling Hot Pink Lotus (Bare Root)

Nelumbo nucifera — large pond lotus, shipped as a dormant lotus tuber.

Hot, hot, hot pink flowers. Huge flowers. 10"-12" bright pink single flowers make 'Pink-A-Licious' one of our most popular hybrids. It will reach 5'-6' in a 20" pot and taller in an earth-bottom pond. The flowers are held high above the leaves to attract the maximum amount of attention and produce large seed pods. Excellent tuber production.

As a large pond lotus, this one settles at 12 to 24 inches of water over the crown once established — start a new tuber under 2 to 4 inches and raise the level as it pushes aerial leaves, with the growing tip left uncovered.
