Snow Loving - Extra Small Bowl Lotus (Bare Root)

Nelumbo nucifera ‘Xue Ning’ — bowl lotus, shipped as a dormant lotus tuber.

Small Bowl Lotus. 'Snow Loving' is a wonderful pure white multi-petal lotus that sometimes has green petaloids forming a crown in the center. We have been trying to add white cultivars at the request of our customers and this one is a winner! It can be grown in a very small pot or at the edges of your pond.

As a bowl lotus, this one settles at 2 to 12 inches of water over the crown once established — start a new tuber under 2 to 4 inches and raise the level as it pushes aerial leaves, with the growing tip left uncovered.
