Tiny Red Elf 16 - Tiny Garden Gnome Lotus (Bare Root)

Nelumbo nucifera — bowl lotus, shipped as a dormant lotus tuber.

'Tiny Red Elf ' is a very small bowl lotus that has sharply pointed petals that drape beautifully as the flower ages. The soft red color gives way to petals with a a slight blush of red at the tips of white petals. This little 'Tiny Red Elf' will be the perfect gnome in your garden!

As a bowl lotus, this one settles at 2 to 12 inches of water over the crown once established — start a new tuber under 2 to 4 inches and raise the level as it pushes aerial leaves, with the growing tip left uncovered.
